A Gentle Reset for the Body, Heart, and Spirit, New Moon cleanse for 2026.
Have you ever felt the quiet pull to reset as a new year begins? Each year, I intentionally create a set of personal rituals to help my nervous system rebalance and realign as I step into a new cycle. I weave together physical, emotional, and spiritual practices to create a truly synergistic approach to renewal. While the rituals themselves may shift slightly from year to year, the intention remains the same — to listen deeply and choose what feels most supportive and nourishing for me in that moment.
As I step into this new year, I felt called to offer you the same — beginning with one of the simplest and most grounding rituals I know: a thoughtfully prepared cup of herbal tea.
This offering was created under the luminous power of the first full moon of 2026 — a time of illumination, emotional clarity, and gentle truth. It is shared as a gift to you, dear fellow seeker, with the intention that it may support your journey of release, renewal, and remembrance.
As the clarity of the full moon guides us forward, we are also supported by the quiet potential of the January new moon — a moment that invites rest, intention, and new beginnings. Together, these lunar energies remind us that transformation does not need to be rushed. It begins softly, with awareness and care.
Rather than approaching cleansing as something harsh or restrictive, this practice invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect. To gently detox the body, soothe the nervous system, and create space — physically, emotionally, and spiritually — for what wishes to emerge in the year ahead.
The Ritual of Tea as a Form of Cleansing
Herbal tea is one of the most accessible and ancient forms of healing. When prepared with intention, it becomes more than nourishment — it becomes ritual. A pause. A moment to listen inward.
This particular blend was created to support:
Gentle physical detoxification and digestion
Emotional regulation and nervous system balance
Spiritual clarity and grounded intention-setting
Each herb was chosen not only for its physical properties, but for the way it supports the subtle layers of healing as well.
The New Year Cleanse Tea Blend
🌿 Holy Basil (Tulsi)
Often referred to as “The Queen of Herbs,” Holy Basil has long been used to support balance during times of stress and transition.
Tulsi helps to:
Calm the nervous system and reduce stress
Support emotional resilience
Encourage mental clarity and heart-centered awareness
Tulsi is a beautiful ally when stepping into a new chapter with intention and grace.
🌿 Peppermint
Refreshing and clarifying, peppermint awakens both the body and the mind.
Peppermint helps to:
Support digestion and relieve bloating
Improve focus and mental clarity
Gently lift emotional heaviness
Its bright, cooling nature mirrors the fresh-start energy of a new year.
🌼 Chamomile
Chamomile offers gentle comfort and deep nervous system support.
Chamomile helps to:
Encourage relaxation and restful sleep
Soothe the digestive system
Support emotional softness and self-compassion
It reminds us that true cleansing can be nurturing, not forceful.
✨ Turmeric
A revered root known for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
Turmeric helps to:
Support liver detoxification
Reduce inflammation in the body
Clear stagnation and restore vitality
Energetically, turmeric awakens inner fire and purpose — helping us move forward with clarity.
🌿 Dandelion (Root or Leaf)
One of nature’s most effective and gentle detoxifiers.
Dandelion helps to:
Support liver and kidney function
Encourage healthy elimination
Release emotional stagnation
Dandelion teaches resilience — the art of letting go while remaining rooted.
🍄 Chaga Mushroom
A deeply grounding medicinal mushroom traditionally used for strength and longevity.
Chaga helps to:
Support immune health and cellular repair
Reduce oxidative stress
Ground spiritual insight into the physical body
Chaga offers steadiness, nourishment, and protection during times of change.
Preparing Your Tea
To prepare your tea, allow the process itself to become part of the ritual.
If using chaga, gently simmer it for 20–30 minutes. Remove from heat, add the remaining herbs, cover, and steep for 10–15 minutes. Strain, sweeten lightly if desired, and sip slowly.
As you drink, allow yourself to arrive fully in the moment.
Cleansing Reflection
Cleansing is not about becoming someone new — it is about remembering what feels true. As you move through this season, may you listen deeply to your body, honor your emotions, and trust the quiet wisdom that guides you forward.
A Gift for January ✨
In the spirit of renewal and gratitude, this New Year Cleanse Tea Blend is being offered as a free gift with any Microdose purchase throughout January 2026.
It is my way of supporting your journey as we step into this new cycle together — gently, consciously, and with care.
May this season invite you to slow down, listen inward, and begin again with clarity and trust. You are not behind. You are exactly where you need to be.
With gratitude and intention,
Lisa Gravelle
